1. Who we are and what these terms cover
Just Cut is an iPhone app made by Levron Films LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Levron Films", "we", "us"). [VERIFY: if Levron Films sells under the name Just Cut, register Just Cut as a fictitious name with the Florida Division of Corporations (Fla. Stat. 865.09), then add "doing business as Just Cut" here.] Contact: contact@levron.co, [VERIFY: phone], [VERIFY: business address].
These terms cover the Just Cut app, its AI features, the subscription and our website. The Subscription Terms and the Privacy Policy are part of these terms. By using Just Cut you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Your licence to use the app comes from Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). If these terms and Apple's agreement differ, Apple's agreement decides how the app is licensed, and these terms decide everything else.
2. Who can use Just Cut
- You must be 13 or older to use Just Cut. At first launch the app asks Apple for your age range (Apple's Declared Age Range) and stops if it is under 13.
- Between 13 and the age of majority where you live (18 in most US states and in most countries), you may use Just Cut only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these terms for you and is responsible for your use, including any purchase. Where the law of your country or state sets other rules for minors, for example a parent's consent before an app is used or before personal data is shared, those rules apply too, and Just Cut may ask for that consent through Apple. [VERIFY with the lawyer: the US state app store laws (Texas now, Utah, Louisiana and California later) and GDPR Article 8 in the EU, see CHECKLIST.md items U5 and U6.]
- If you use Just Cut for a business, you confirm that you may agree to these terms for that business, and you agree to them for it too.
[VERIFY with the lawyer: Anthropic's rules for products that people under 18 may use (its Usage Policy and guidance for organizations serving minors) also apply, because the minimum age is 13 and not 18.]
3. Your content is yours
- Your clips, takes, reels, briefs, scripts and other material you put in or make with Just Cut ("your content") belong to you or to whoever you got them from. We claim no ownership.
- Your video stays on your iPhone. When you use Just Cut's AI, you let us and our service providers process the words and any frames you choose to send, only to give you the answer, as the Privacy Policy describes. We do not use your content for anything else, and we do not use it to train AI.
- You are responsible for having the rights to everything you put in and everything you post: the people who appear, the music, the products, logos and words.
4. Just Cut's AI
- Just Cut's AI writes suggestions: scripts, hooks, captions and ideas. It is provided by an AI company working for us (Anthropic) and is called Just Cut in the app. You are dealing with AI, not a person, whenever Just Cut writes for you; the app says so before your first AI request and marks what the AI wrote.
- Before the first AI request, Just Cut asks your permission to send words to Anthropic (Allow or Not now). You can withdraw it in Settings at any time. Without it, everything that runs on your iPhone keeps working.
- AI output may be false, incomplete or misleading, can repeat common phrases and can say things that are not true about a product. Check everything independently before you post it. You decide what to publish and you are responsible for it.
- As between you and us, you own what the AI writes for you, to the extent the law allows anyone to own it. Others may get similar suggestions, and we cannot promise that AI output can be protected by copyright.
- Do not use the AI to make content that is illegal, sexual content involving minors, harassment or hate, threats, content that impersonates a real person, fake reviews or testimonials, ads that hide who paid for them, scams, false or harmful health or financial claims, or anything Anthropic's Usage Policy (https://www.anthropic.com/legal/aup) forbids.
- We may limit or stop AI requests that break these rules, that look automated or abusive, or that go past the fair use limits in the Subscription Terms.
5. Brand work, claims and disclosures
Just Cut is built for creators who make videos for brands.
- Disclose paid content. When you post a video you were paid for, given free product for, or have any other connection to the brand behind, you must disclose it clearly, as the law where you post requires (in the US, the FTC's Endorsement Guides) and as each platform requires. Just Cut can remind you and add a disclosure line, but it is your job to make sure the disclosure is there, clear and true.
- Claims check. Just Cut can warn you about words in a take that brands and platforms often reject, such as health claims or "lowest price". It is a helper, not legal advice. It will miss things and it may flag things that are fine.
- Must say words. Showing whether the brand's required words were said is a helper too. Check the final video yourself.
- Your agreements with brands. Your contracts with brands, agencies and platforms are between you and them. We are not a party to them.
6. Reels from other people (Match a reel, Saved, brand references)
- You may give Just Cut a video from your Photos, or share one into the app, so it can learn a look (caption style, colours, pace, cuts). Just Cut keeps a description of the look, not the video, and never puts another person's video, sound or words into your reel.
- Only use videos you have the right to use for this, such as your own reels, a brand's reference the brand sent you, or public videos you use only to study their style.
- You must not use Just Cut to copy another person's video, voice, words, likeness or identity, or to pass your reel off as theirs.
- A link you share or paste into Just Cut is saved on your iPhone as a reference. Just Cut does not open, read or download anything from it.
- Just Cut is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by TikTok, Instagram, Meta, YouTube or Google. Your use of those services is under their own terms.
7. Reporting content and rights
If something Just Cut's AI wrote is harmful, offensive or untrue, use Settings, Help, Report something Just Cut wrote, which opens your own Mail app with a draft to contact@levron.co, or write to that address. If you believe something in Just Cut uses your work, your name or your likeness without permission, write to contact@levron.co with what it is and why. We answer within [VERIFY: two business days] and remove or disable it where we agree. Just Cut does not host or publish users' reels; reels are on users' own iPhones and the platforms they post to, so for a reel posted on a platform, also use that platform's reporting tools.
8. The subscription and free reels
The plan, prices, the 5 free reels, renewal, cancellation, refunds and the fair use limit on AI are in the Subscription Terms. Apple sells and bills the subscription. If you live in the EU or the UK, your right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days is handled by Apple as the seller, under Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions for your country (Subscription Terms, section 7).
9. Rules for using Just Cut
You agree not to:
- break the law, or anyone's rights, with Just Cut or with what you make in it;
- reverse engineer, copy or resell the app, except where the law allows it despite this rule;
- get around the free reels count, the fair use limits, App Attest or any other protection, or use our server other than through the app;
- send automated or bulk requests, or overload our server;
- use Just Cut to make spam, malware, deceptive ads or fake reviews or testimonials.
10. Our app and our names
The app, its design, looks, effects, sounds and words (other than your content and third party material licensed to us) belong to Levron Films or its licensors. "Just Cut" is our name for the app. Fonts, music, sound effects and code from others are used under their licences, listed in the app under Settings, About, Acknowledgements [VERIFY: the screen's real name]. You may use the included music and sound effects in the reels you make.
11. Changes and availability
We may change or stop features, for example to fix problems or follow the law or Apple's rules. If we stop the AI service or the app entirely while you have a paid period left, you can ask Apple for a refund. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change applies. If you keep using Just Cut after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the app and cancel the subscription.
12. No warranty
Just Cut is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error free, always available, that AI output will be accurate or fit for a purpose, or that a reel will be accepted by a brand or a platform. Keep your own copies of your clips and reels; we do not hold backups of anything on your iPhone. Some places do not allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.
13. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, Levron Films is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost income from brand deals, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim about Just Cut is limited to the amount you paid for Just Cut in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if that is more. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
14. Your responsibility to us
If someone makes a claim against us because of content you made or posted with Just Cut, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows. This does not apply if you are a consumer in a country where such clauses are not allowed.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be decided in the state or federal courts located in [VERIFY: Florida county], Florida, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, write to us at contact@levron.co and give us 30 days to try to solve it.
[VERIFY, the lawyer decides: whether to add an arbitration clause and class action waiver. Leave it out unless the lawyer drafts it.]
If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another country whose consumer laws give you rights that a contract cannot take away, nothing in these terms takes those rights away, and you may also bring a claim in the courts where you live. The choice of Florida law does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
16. Ending these terms
You can stop using Just Cut at any time by deleting it (and cancelling the subscription with Apple). We may end or limit your use if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, in particular sections 4, 6 and 9. Sections 3, 4 (ownership), 10, 12, 13, 14 and 15 continue after these terms end.
17. Apple
These points are part of the agreement because Just Cut is distributed through the App Store:
- These terms are between you and Levron Films, not Apple. Levron Films, not Apple, is solely responsible for Just Cut and its content.
- Your licence is limited to using Just Cut on Apple devices that you own or control, as the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions allow.
- Apple has no duty to provide maintenance or support for Just Cut.
- If Just Cut fails to meet a warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty duty for Just Cut, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages or costs from a failure to meet a warranty are Levron Films' responsibility, as far as these terms do not exclude them.
- Levron Films, not Apple, is responsible for any claims by you or a third party about Just Cut or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that it does not meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
- If a third party claims that Just Cut or your use of it infringes their intellectual property, Levron Films, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated by the US Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Questions, complaints or claims about Just Cut go to Levron Films at contact@levron.co, [VERIFY: phone], [VERIFY: business address].
- You must also follow the terms of any third party service you use with Just Cut (for example your mobile carrier, TikTok or Instagram).
- Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these terms, and once you accept them Apple may enforce them against you as a third party beneficiary.
18. Other things
If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part right away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer these terms to anyone else; we may transfer them as part of a sale or merger of our business. These terms, the Subscription Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Just Cut.

Subscription Terms
Last updated: [VERIFY: date]
These Subscription Terms are part of the Just Cut Terms of Use. Just Cut is made by Levron Films LLC.
1. The plan
Just Cut has one plan with every feature in it. You can pay for it in one of two ways:
- Monthly: $19.99 a month (US price).
- Yearly: $149.99 a year (US price). That works out to about $12.50 a month, which is 37 percent less than paying monthly for 12 months ($239.88).
Prices in other countries are shown in the app and on the App Store in your currency, and may include local taxes.
There is no free trial. Instead, you get 5 free reels (section 3), with no card and no account.
2. How billing and renewal work
- Apple bills you. The subscription is sold through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- It renews by itself. Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and for the same period (a month or a year) unless you turn off automatic renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- When you are charged for a renewal. Apple charges your Apple Account for the next period within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- The plan page shows the renewal date and price before you subscribe.
3. The 5 free reels
- A new iPhone can save or share 5 reels for free, with every feature on and Just Cut's AI included.
- A reel counts at its first save or share that worked. A save that failed, was cancelled, or a share sheet you closed without sending does not count. Once a reel has counted, you can save and share that reel again as often as you like.
- Making, editing and watching reels is always free. After the 5 free reels, saving and sharing new reels needs the plan. Every reel you made stays in the app to watch, and reels you already saved to Photos or Files are yours.
- The free reels are counted per iPhone. Deleting and installing the app again does not give you new free reels.
- Free AI. With the free reels, each iPhone gets one allowance of Just Cut's AI, which is normally enough to read a brief or two and write the scripts and hooks for 5 reels. [VERIFY: Tim confirms this sentence against research/free-ai-2026-10-30.md.] If the allowance runs out first, your reels still get cut and captioned on the iPhone; only the AI writing waits for the plan. An iPhone that was reset or reinstalled may get a smaller allowance once.
4. What the plan includes, and the fair use limit on AI
Editing on your iPhone has no count. Everything that runs on your iPhone (recording, cutting, captions, looks, shapes, overlap audio, batch, exports) has no count and no limit other than your iPhone's storage and battery.
Just Cut's AI writing has a fair use limit. AI writing (scripts, hooks, captions, ideas, reading briefs) costs us money each time, so the plan includes it up to a monthly limit:
- The plan includes AI writing for about 100 reels a month. A reel counts once, however many times you ask the AI about it. [VERIFY: keep this number in step with FAIR_USE_PRO in server/wrangler.toml, today 100.]
- Just Cut writes with its best AI first. After the month's share of the best AI, it switches to a lighter AI for the rest of the month and tells you once.
- If you reach the month's full limit, AI writing rests until the month resets on the 1st of the next month (UTC time). Recording, cutting, captions, looks and exports keep working.
- There is also a daily limit, so a fault or a script cannot use up the month in one day. If you reach it, AI writing comes back the next day.
- In this version there is nothing extra to buy: no credits, no top ups. The limit simply resets each month.
- We may change these limits for future periods. If we lower them, we will tell you in the app at least 30 days before [VERIFY: Tim and the lawyer pick the notice period], and you can cancel before the change applies to you.
5. Just Cut's AI and your consent
Before the first AI request, Just Cut asks your permission to send the words of your takes, your briefs and what you type to Anthropic, the company that runs Just Cut's AI (Allow or Not now). If you tap Not now, or later turn the AI off in Settings, the plan still includes every feature that runs on your iPhone, and the AI writing stays off until you allow it. The price does not change. The Privacy Policy has the details.
6. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time. Apple manages the subscription, so you cancel with Apple:
- On your iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap Just Cut, then Cancel Subscription.
- In Just Cut: on the plan page, tap Open Apple's subscriptions page, or go to Settings, Your plan, Manage subscription.
- On the web: https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions
When you cancel, your plan keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for. It will not renew after that. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
7. Refunds
Apple handles all payments and refunds. To ask for a refund, go to https://reportaproblem.apple.com or follow Apple's steps at https://support.apple.com/118223 [VERIFY: this support article number]. We cannot give refunds ourselves because we never receive your payment details. If Apple refunds a purchase, the plan it paid for ends.
EU and UK: 14 day right of withdrawal. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have a right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. Apple sells the subscription to you and handles this right under Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions for your country (for example https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/ie/terms.html for Ireland). To use it, go to https://reportaproblem.apple.com or follow the steps in Apple's terms. [VERIFY with the lawyer: the exact wording of Apple's terms for the EU and UK on the publish date, and whether anything else must be said here.]
8. Price changes
If we change the price of the plan, Apple tells you before the new price applies, by email and in the App Store, and asks for your agreement where the law or Apple's rules require it. If you do not agree, the subscription ends at the end of the current period. Apple's rules decide when an increase needs your agreement. We will also tell you in the app between 7 and 30 days before a new price applies to you. [VERIFY: this in app notice is not built yet; build it before any price change. VERIFY with the lawyer: California 17602(g)(2) asks for notice 7 to 30 days before a fee change; New York GBL 527a asks for new consent or a refund window.]
9. Restore purchases
If you get a new iPhone or install Just Cut again, tap Restore purchases on the plan page or in Settings, Your plan. You need to be signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy.
10. Family Sharing
The subscription is not shared through Family Sharing. [VERIFY: Tim decides; the StoreKit file has Family Sharing off.]
11. If something goes wrong
If you paid and the plan does not show, tap Restore purchases first. If that does not help, write to contact@levron.co with the date you bought it and your App Store country. We answer within [VERIFY: two business days].
12. Reminders
If you have the yearly plan, Just Cut shows you a reminder in the app between 30 and 45 days before it renews, with the renewal date, the price and how to cancel. [VERIFY: the reminder is in the submitted build. The window meets California (15 to 45 days before renewal, Bus. and Prof. Code 17602(b)(2) and (h)), New York (15 to 45 days, GBL 527a) and Virginia and Florida (30 to 60 days). Ask the lawyer whether an in app notice is enough where a state asks for email or mail, for example Minnesota 325G.57.]
After you subscribe, Just Cut shows a confirmation with these terms and how to cancel, and Apple emails you a receipt. [VERIFY: build the confirmation, California 17602(a)(3).]
